Growing up my mom would let me choose any restaurant I wanted to eat at for my birthday.

In those days, there was no Yelp, Instagram, or really even much of an Internet. So, I’d pull out the phone book and head straight to the Yellow Pages to see where I could find something different, something I’d never tasted before.

That was how my love of dining out started. Yes, I also love to cook and will share some special recipes here and there, but there is something about NOT having to cook. But it only works if the food is spot-on.

Since moving to Austin, Texas in 2015, I’ve been exploring its vast dining landscape and have barely scratched the surface of the dining scene. One thing I’m always on the lookout for is a good burger. On this site you will find my burger list, which I am forever checking off and writing reviews of each sandwich. I’ll also share some of my favorite places to dine in the Capital city.
